iPhone 16 colors: all the rumored shades

Based on leaks and rumored information, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to offer a variety of shades that appeal to a wide range of tastes. We have the possible names of the iPhone 16 colors leaked, and now we also have a couple of dummy unit images that show what some of the colors may potentially look like.

Here are the colors you should expect to see on the iPhone 16 series, based on rumors and leaks.

The colors shown here are the Midnight and Starlight ones, alongside a blue, green, and pink color options. We still hear rumors about a purple iPhone, and also the red one. These two color options are missing from this image though, so they are becoming a bit unlikely.

Midnight is expected to make a return as a part of the iPhone 16 colors. It offers a deep, almost-black shade that’s perfect for those who love a sleek, professional look. It’s a classic choice that never goes out of style, providing a sense of sophistication and elegance.

However, we’re not seeing this color in leaks so far, so maybe it won’t happen. On the other hand, we have the leaked dummy units showing a blue color option, so it may take the purple’s place in the iPhone 16 color palatte.

The bold (PRODUCT) RED is rumored to be part of the lineup again. This vibrant crimson shade not only makes a statement but also supports a good cause. It’s a dynamic and passionate color that stands out and shows off your personality. Although we haven’t seen this color in leaks so far, this doesn’t mean Apple won’t have it.

iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max colors

Also, we now have four colors for the iPhone 16 Pro leaked in dummy units:

I wouldn’t say the colors will look exactly like the pictured above. Those are dummy units meant to illustrate how the phone may look but not directly indicative of the exact shade of the glass that will be the final product.

iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max in Rose/Bronze (rumored)

We have two options in the rumors about the possible iPhone 16 Pro signature color this year. One is the rumored earlier “rose” variant, and the other is the leaked recently “bronze” variant that you see above.

9to5Mac sources also got their hands on a leaked image that showcases what the color looks like:

Earlier, we had rumors about a “Desert Rose” color as a signature color this year. I’d reckon it will look similar to the the bronze color seen in the dummy units.
Interestingly enough, the bronze that Digital Chat Station is talking about could be related to this color option. If Apple decides to go for more of a Desert Rose look, that might be connected somehow to a bronze-looking colorway.

If the rumors about the rose are to be believed (they’re getting a little bit unlikely at this point), we may see something we haven’t recently seen on a Pro iPhone. Usually rose color is a slightly de-saturated (and sometimes darker) pink color:

I’d bet on a mixture of the rose on the first raw of the table and the crepe on the last one to be similar to the “Rose” present in the rumored iPhone 16 Pro colors.

On the image above, we have the 14 Pro in White Titanium. We believe the White shade could be quite similar to how this one looks. Basically, the difference between Silver and White could be visible only in certain lighting conditions. When we know more, we’ll let you know.

Conclusion: exciting colors this year, especially the beige Pro

The rumored iPhone 16 color palette shows Apple’s commitment to offering something for everyone. Whether you’re into classic shades like Midnight and Graphite or more vibrant hues like Pink and Green, there will likely be a color that matches your style in the colors of the iPhone 16. Of course, these colors are not official and this is still based on rumors, so do keep that in mind. However, things are looking very exciting, especially with the Desert Titanium iPhone 16 Pro color which leaked recently.
